Nuts

Looking Down

Oh, Nicooooooo. I got a call today from your allergist.

What

You did?

Yup.

What’d he say?

That your numbers are down to 0.25, and that the Mayo clinic considers anything below 0.3 negative for allergies. You, my dear, are (potentially) one of the 9% of the population who outgrows a nut allergy.

Dr. Called

Really?

Really.

No joke?

No joke.

Allergy Free

Get outta here.

We are outta here. We’re on the road as we speak, heading to our vacation.

Yeah, about that. Aren’t you on a break?

You can’t be on a break when you have such great news to share. Breaks are for grumpy people.

Makes sense.

Of course it does.

Hey, mama?

Yes?

9%.

Yup.  9%.

Awesome

Mama?

Yes?

Pine nuts can suck it.

You know it, baby.

Hi! I’m Jules.

I used to be an attorney, but it made me grumpy. Now I write about life, sweet and savory, as a wife and mother to two small boys. My knowledge of dinosaurs knows no bounds.

You can read more, including the meaning behind the name Pancakes and French Fries here. And, yes, I really am phenomenally indecisive.
