At the risk of stating the obvious…

Nicholas really needs to work on his 275 smiles. He’ll never sign with Ford at this rate.

275 smiles? Way too stressful. I mean really, what if you happen to smile the wrong smile at the wrong time? THEN where will you be? I think Nicholas has the right idea–keep it simple. Not to mention, his smile makes others smile … except maybe his mom, who would probably like one–just one–family photo where he’s perfected the “family portrait smile.” :)

Hay! You look GREAT in that pink shirt!

  3. When I first landed on your blog and I saw Tyra, my first thought was, “What could Jules POSSIBLY be writing about, that involved TB?!”

    Hilarious.

    Hahahahaha! Love it!

    Don’t you just love Tahoe!

Nico and Addi have the exact same smile. Gritted teeth and grimaced mouth. Priceless.

Gah! she loves to hear herself talk! I’ve gotta perfect the high fashion smile for my outfit posts. And I think all kids go through that awkward smile stage…looking back on some pictures of Taylor makes me laugh and cringe at the same time. Awkward! ;)

I know! The first time I saw her in a video clip called “smile with your eyes,” I could NOT stop laughing. It was all the more funny knowing she was dead serious. DEAD SERIOUS. Like, she was dispensing some important, life altering information. I was going to use that video for this post but when I stumbled across this black and white artsy gem, I couldn’t resist.

Here is the original video I was going to use in all its campy glory: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yZhRz6DZSrM

I just watched it again and had to chuckle. At the end her eyeballs are almost bigger than those earrings.

I vote we need some sort of reader request posts. My request? I want you to photograph yourself attempting to follow this tutorial. Only because I know the narration of your experience would be fabulously hilarious.

Hi! I’m Jules.

I used to be an attorney, but it made me grumpy. Now I write about life, sweet and savory, as a wife and mother to two small boys. My knowledge of dinosaurs knows no bounds.

You can read more, including the meaning behind the name Pancakes and French Fries here. And, yes, I really am phenomenally indecisive.
