::::::

On Betrayal

    I wish I’d written down more of what my kids said when they were younger. Now it’s all “your mom” and “Chuck Norris” and “make me a sandwich,” but once upon a time I had a little boy who told me, “Mommy, my imagination is my best toy because I can never lose it or break it.” (Yeah, I wrote that one down!) Love these–especially the first one.

    Stuff Mikey says is without a doubt my favorite part of your blog. LOVE IT! What a bright little boy. Save these…you’ll have a whole book written by the time he’s 18! Thanks for sharing. :)

    Oh my – zombie crows? I’m afraid of birds as it is – now I’ll really have nightmares! :)
    I was away from the computer and didn’t comment on your post about Rome, but wanted to send you hugs and to say how much I admire your sense of what is important and your acceptance of it.

    Stuff Mikey Says is one of my favourite readings. Even today with these such bad news he makes me smile. A very big smile.
    Thank you, Mikey! You are so clever.
    And thank you for sharing it!

    I’m stuck on zombie crows. Where do kids get this stuff? Too funny.

    Hmm. . . I’ve known a few whom I would have liked to sic zombie crows on . . . if only I’d known!

    “Some days you just have to muddle through it or go to bed.”-this is the first time I’ve ever seen my philosophy on life verbalized. Either he’s really wise or I think like a kid. I’m going with the wisdom thing, makes both of us look good.
