I just wanted to thank those of you who commented, sent me emails, and commiserated with me about losing patience–both with our children and with ourselves. Your words of encouragement cheered me tremendously. I’m happy to report I am feeling better, buoyed from your words and from spending the weekend in a bit of a reverie. I retrieved every picture I have of Nicholas and the Mister that I didn’t lose in the crash so that I can string them up on a line with clothespins for the “4 and 40” birthday(s) party on Saturday. Thankfully, I only lost 2010’s photos, and some of that year I have on the blog and on sites like Flickr.
I ask you, how can you be in a crabby mood looking at pictures like this?
You can’t. Life is too damn short.
