Real Simple Family

Real Simple Family

I’m in Real Simple‘s annual Family Issue for my escapades with a red sharpie marker. Surreal. Do you remember me posting that day, and how we were all talking like crazy in the comments about what to do?  I sure do.

You can find this issue at most supermarkets and all the usual booksellers.  A special thanks to Apartment Therapy‘s Elizabeth Passarella for thinking of me.

um, dude, i totally just read that issue, saw the bit on sharpie markers and said “eh, i don’t need to read that. if i ever get sharpie all over my couches, i know jules has got the goods online” and totally skimmed over it.

    hahahaha

    congrats :-)

And now I remember you! I’ve been here before. :) At the time of that post, I was considering buying the Corona from Macy’s.

And I know it’s not nice to laugh, but I just looked at the marker destruction photos again and giggled. Gotta love kids!

  20. So totally well deserved. I remember having to physically pick my jaw up off the floor when I saw your amazing couch saving marker coup!

Hi! I’m Jules.

I used to be an attorney, but it made me grumpy. Now I write about life, sweet and savory, as a wife and mother to two small boys. My knowledge of dinosaurs knows no bounds.

You can read more, including the meaning behind the name Pancakes and French Fries here. And, yes, I really am phenomenally indecisive.
