That’s right! Today is my birthday. I’m 42!! I’m returning to my daily walks as a gift to myself. I was going to start January 1, like I did in 2013, but the more I thought about it, the more it made sense for me to start on my birthday.
As you can see, I’m uploading my instagram walks here. I’ll be doing that daily, so you’ll have to pardon the daily posts from here on out. I’m doing it to help me keep track of days, which became more challenging than the walks by the end of 2013. I’d have to scroll through my feed to make sure I had the date right. You’d think I wouldn’t, but by the 200’s I started duplicating days and I got so jumbled that I finally resorted to using this calendar on my desktop.
Also, it’s kind of my blog so there. If I want to be true to my intentions and use this as a journal, I’m going to post on the schedule that feels best to me. So I should stop apologizing. Maybe that should be my other gift to myself this year. Hah!
Health and no more apologies. Great plan.
Thanks! :)
Birthday buddy, can't wait to see how this 42nd year roles out for you. It is 32F in Vancouver today, icy and cool, but the skies are blue and it feels good to be 41.
I agree! And Happy Birthday. You are a young whippersnapper at 42. I turned 49 (gasp!) two weeks ago.
Walking is my gift to myself as well. I've been doing it for a few years now. I live in Illinois, however, so it isn't daily by any means.
Happy Birthday. Here's to health and happiness.
Happiest of birthdays!
Happy Birthday!
Happy happy birthday! :-)
Happy Birthday!!! No apologies needed-looking forward to the pictures.
Happy birthday! And what a great number to be!
Happy birthday, Jules!!!
Happy Birthday! If you ever want a walking buddy in the OC, call me up, I have a couple of five to six mile walks I do on a regular basis.
Aww, Happy Birthday a day late! You share my nephew's birthday; I became an aunt exactly twelve years ago. This year was the big 4-0 for me; I'm a November birthday too, so it's still pretty fresh. :)
Health and no apologies, as noted in another comment, sounds like a fantastic gift to yourself!
