The party was on Saturday, which means I am no longer crafting, cooking, or baking in a frenzy. Remember when I said no one was allowed to get sick? I got sick on Wednesday (with a bad cold). The Mister got sick on Thursday (with the same bad cold). Nico remained healthy, which is all that matters, but, wow, are we miserable now that we no longer have to pretend to be healthy.
I’m doing okay, but not great. The Mister is home sick. We both are enthusiastic about our decision to completely ignore Valentine’s day, although I’m going to have to think of something simple to do for the boys. Other than that, I’m going to lay low, see if I can clean up any of the pictures of the party (they’re all pretty bad), and revel in the feeling of an open calendar.

So that’s what you needed the clothespins for. Did you end up finding them at Target? I do the same type of display with mine for the kid’s artwork.
Glad to hear the party was a success. Sorry you are sick. I am right there with ya. Bad, bad cold. Off to go try my neti pot for the first time and get some rest. Hope you do the same.

What a great way to decorate! I’m so glad Nico managed to stay healthy for his party. I hope that wellness is on it’s way to all of you!

You are such a better person than I am. When the hubs and I are sick at the same time, you can’t hear the hungry cats over our whining.
Happy Valentine’s Day!

Hope you start to feel better soon!!

It looks wonderful!
And I am a huge fan of ignoring Valentine’s Day. So much pressure, so little point. Our rule is that if something works out, great. If not, no big deal.

I LOVE the wall! Great job Jules. So sorry you got sick, it must of been all the stress. You can celebrate Valentine’s any day of the year.
Feel better!

I have a photo garland, but I love how this is several layers worth!
