Soon. Very, very soon. After my sister in law’s baby shower on Saturday (which I am co-hosting) the long three months of weekend social commitments will come to an end.
No more birthdays, holidays, showers, graduations, or social engagements we can not turn down. From here on out we are going to have dinner with friends and family, visit parks, zoos, and baseball games, and enjoy the quiet weekends.
I might even know what I am going to make for dinner before 5:00 pm, but I’m not promising anything.
Enjoy the downtime! Hopefully your list of “to do’s” will stay short!

Huh? You gals are cuckoo for coco-puffs. :) It’s kind of messy now, but I will admit that it was really even and pretty in law school. I wrote every day ALL day, so I got lots of practice!

I’ve recently married into a large family (i now have an additional 8 brothers-in-law and 3 sisters-in-law. I can’t see an end to weekends being full of family birthdays, engagements, christenings and weddings etc. Maybe one day it will slow down. Enjoy the time while it lasts.
