I just wanted to quickly direct your attention to a new way to find recipes with minimally-processed ingredients and whole foods. Heidie Swanson at 101 Cookbooks recently developed Super Natural Recipe Search, a custom search engine full of recipes featuring natural, whole food cooking styles and ingredients. I have a little link to it in the side bar on the far right. See the super cute little tree? Click on that and it will take you to the search engine. (This is not an advertisement, and I don’t receive any reimbursement for having it there. It’s just that the layout of my blog prevents me from placing it anywhere else.)
If you haven’t checked out 101 Cookbooks, I implore you to do so as soon as possible. Her recipes are fantastic. Each one I have tried, and there have been many, has been a hit with the family. My two current favorites are the Mushroom Casserole (don’t leave out the fresh tarragon!) and the Ten Minute Tasty Asparagus and Brown Rice. The latter comes with a creamy tahini dressing that is to die for. I made this for a potluck at my parent’s house and both my mom and dad had several generous portions. And, no, they do not routinely drink green smoothies and sprinkle their popcorn with nutritional yeast.
Oh, and it goes without saying–if you find a great recipe please do send it my way.

Hi Jule,
I just noticed my comments don’t have my latest blog entry after them. ??? I love that feature and have gotten some new readers from your site (thanks!). Any ideas?
BTW, Happy birthday Nico!

Thanks so much for the link to that site. I NEED to incorporate healthier eating into our life and this looks very practical and EASY! That is the key for me.
Thanks!

Yes, I totally agree with your philosophy and I cook with as much natural ingredients as I can possibly find in my rather remote location.
