When you are 4 years old, and you’ve had a long, hard day at work playing with kids who have cats for pets, often the best thing you can do is sneeze, itch, and come home and have a good cry. Preferably on watercraft-sized breasts, which I can assure you is one of the few times they are appreciated by their owner. Of course, an antihistamine and some eye drops help, too.
After that, the only thing you can do is shut your eyes and cover them with a cool, wet, washcloth (or paper towel if the parental units remain alarmingly unprepared for such things). Then, you simply rest.
And rest.
And rest.
Until everything is all better. Conveniently enough, 3 out of 4 pediatricians agree the same course of treatment also works for things like recessions and potential lay offs.
He is adorable! Sorry the kitties make him feel so bad though.
I so feel his pain. I have allergies to guinea pigs and when I was dating my husband, neither his mom nor his sister believed that this was true. Hmmm…I was weazing, itchy eyed and teary eyed for what? So, at dinner time, EVERY TIME, his damn sister would bring that stupid guinea pig to the kitchen table. Thank god those little rats are long since passed. Poor little sweetie.

That looks like heaven. I can completely relate to him. My allergies have complete mind of their own right now. I wish that someone would hold me like that when I get home at night. I hope he feels better soon!

Yes, I agree with Julie, I nearly went into seizure, especially since I was worried you were referring to me. I am glad he’s better, my Fancy doesn’t have breasts (yet) (I give him ten years top) so comforting my sad self he will have to resort to crazy dancing, I think crazy dancers can help people out of this funk. Thank you for making me laugh, I hate when I come over and you haven’t updated, I think I am addicted and need a 12 step to get me through these times when you decided to not grace us with your sunshine…

Poor Mikey! We’ve started allergy shots. :*( So sad but makes me hopeful for a day when my little girl (Lindsay) can feel “normal”.
There is something about your child resting on your breast that lets you know just why God placed them there, right? (LOL about watercraft sized…only you! ;) )
Is is possible for a little boy to be beautiful? If so, he’s that!

I have to admit, that does look remarkably comforting. I’m glad to know that the methods in which I comfort my 11 day old will continue to work for him later in childhood :)
