I bought this print, called Juggling, from the very lovely and talented Ashley Goldberg the other day. Do I even need to explain why?
Between the boys, The Mister, the house, the blog, the website, and the business, I am stretched pretty thin. Add to that “the bills” and I’m ready to sell everything and go live off the grid in some field in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The Mister can make furniture and I’ll bake artisan pretzels while Mikey and Nico play music on instruments we’ve fashioned out of the scraps from The Mister’s aforementioned furniture business. Selling everything, though, would require “the energy” I don’t seem to possess. So, instead, I’ll bitch.
I know I’m not the only one with a full plate, but I feel like I am the only one who can’t seem to keep it together. So, because I am a big seeker of advice from those more sage than I, kindly share your sanity tips in the comments below. I have a few books on living a simpler life that I may have to dust off and re-read. I think it’s time.

I just have me, the dog and my job to juggle, but I seem to deal with things the exact same way you do. I dream of becoming Amish. My mom visited an Amish woman this week to inquire about her hand quilting. I promptly asked my if the family would adopt me.
I’m not qualified to give advice to a woman with so much on her plate, but I find you very inspiring.

I also feel that way at times and sadly dont have the two kids and/or a job to contend with at the moment. Drugs, alcohol – ok that was my attempt at making you laugh. Seriously I think just taking it one day at a time and remembering that you are only one woman and if things dont get done they dont get done. Oh and accepting that it is ok they didnt get done. I hope this helps. I think you do fabulous with everything – I think your week is just so crazy you are feeling overwhelmed…hang in there tomorrow will be a new day!

I wish I had some advice but all my balls seem to be falling too. I never did really learn how to juggle I am just good at creating the illusion that I know how. Good luck trying to work this out and please pass on any advice you can find :)

That print is so cute I would kiss its hot little mouth if it had one but it doesn’t because it’s just a print. So I will just admire it on my computer screen instead.

Good! Or at least let some of them drop and roll away–you’ll never miss them, and neither will anyone else.
Now I just need to practice what I preach!

The day I feel like super mom the day I feel like I can do it all is ruined the next when someone is sick, visitors arrive and my house is a mess or I forget to pay some bills and the past due one arrives…LOL
HUMOR is what gets me through or my friends at 2WW

Ah, no sage advice young one, but I would like to compliment you on your purchase. I love Ashley G!

Sorry, no sage advice either (I swear I don’t know how our mothers did it). But, just wanted to commiserate
with you (though I thought you were doing a fine job!). I just have the one kid less than you and I’m constantly juggling (and sometimes drop the balls!). Sigh…
Though, a nice hot shower to de-stress, if only for 30 minutes, always made a hectic day just a bit easier to tackle. Now I completely understand (and can relate) to that old Calgon TV commercial from the 80’s where the mom has her kids horsing around screaming and then she yells…”Calgon, take me away!” Now I can relate….

I’m constantly juggling and dropping these days…so just wanted to let you know that you’re not alone!! :) Some days are just better than others (and a day in daycare for the little ones can be great for getting stuff done- I just started doing this a week ago and holy smokes- 7+ interrupted hours is AWESOME!).

Sorry no advice here. Maybe just an additional you’re-definitely-not-alone comment. Even if there were more hours in one day I still probably couldn’t get everything done.
