Jules, "build it and they will come." Just an idea ...... Oh, and when you're on Oprah because your book was on her book list, feel free to invite me to accompany you to her show. :-)

HAHAHAHA! That was funny, Amy. :) That's how Nico was. I couldn't even see him underneath the stroller. No, I didn't take a picture. In fact, my camera was bouncing so furious against my normally sedentary hips that it nearly hit me in the chin.

"Squirrel attack." I'm still chuckling over that one.

With a nod to Julie's comment, Erma you are so fricking hilarious.

When my 10 year old son was a baby I had him on our kitchen table, strapped in a vibrating bouncy seat while I cooked dinner. He bounced and vibrated himself right off the table face down on the floor. You couldn't even see him within the bouncy seat when it was upside down. After I confessed my sins to our ped. she told me I was a "Good" mom because I had at least strapped him in.

And this one will slay you...our friend who is also a ped. told me that one day in the office as he was about to enter the exam room he quickly reviewed the patient chart and the reason for the visit was listed as "squirrel attack". The new mom was out walking on a trail when out of nowhere a squirrel came flying out of a tree and landed in the baby's stroller!!

Did you take pictures of the carnage? Just another way to practice with the camera.

Hmm. My last comment sounds more arrogant than intended. When I said "I hear that a lot" I should have clarified that by "a lot" I meant family and friends, who are bound by code to inflate my ego with hyperbole. Consequently, I don't put much stock in what they way.

I repeat: I WISH. :)

Julie, that is so funny you should say that. I hear that comparison a lot, and it's an honor every time! Translation: I WISH. :)

Jules, you seriously need to consider writing a book of short stories. I'm picturing you as the "Erma Bombeck" of our generation. There is some damn funny writing going on here on your blog girl! :-)
